Semula was born from a genuine desire to inspire and create change. We saw plastic waste not as a burden but as a valuable resource that could be repurposed to create functional, beautiful products. Our name takes its cue from the Malay word “Semula” which means to rejuvenate, refresh, to go back to the beginning and start anew.


Early last year, what started as a casual visit to a plastic upcycling workshop quickly turned into something much more meaningful. That’s where we first crossed paths with Sok Leng, Jeryl, and Sam—the passionate minds behind Semula. Their deep care for the environment, and the heart they pour into their work, struck a chord with us right away.
Semula isn’t just about recycling plastic. It’s about giving discarded materials a second life, and showing us how our everyday choices can have lasting impact. When they shared their desire to better showcase their story online, we knew we wanted to be a part of it.



We came onboard to breathe new life into their brand identity, visuals, and website—bringing clarity to their mission, creating a more seamless user journey, and building a digital space that truly reflects who they are. From sharpening their messaging to refreshing their look and feel, every decision was made with one purpose in mind: to let their values shine through.
