When Professor Theo Kofidis engaged SAY Concepts to revamp his logo and develop a new website, he urgently needed to overhaul his existing brand identity and online presence. With a strict timeline of just 4-6 weeks, our task was to redesign his logo and develop a new, interactive website. Our first step was to gain a thorough understanding of Professor Kofidis' work and his unique approach to surgery as quickly as possible. Our team worked tirelessly to grasp the essentials while proposing high-quality designs. After several explorations, we decided on a logo that best signifies precision, incision, and heart care, all while considering Professor Kofidis' preference for a dynamic and 3D design. The logomark was updated to align with Prof. Kofidis’ innovative approach to heart surgery and his advancements in minimally invasive heart procedures, all while maintaining a sense of professionalism and trust.
Designing a 3D logo presents inherent challenges due to the complexity of creating depth and ensuring versatility across various mediums. Nevertheless, our design team was well-prepared to meet this challenge. We developed a precise and modern 3D logomark, featuring a heart shape with a stylised incision, symbolising Professor Kofidis' expertise in minimally invasive cardiac surgery. The design incorporated a dark navy blue gradient to convey professionalism and trust while maintaining a balanced and sophisticated look. The entire project, including the design and development of a 22-page website, was completed within 6 weeks. It received high praise for its modern aesthetics and enhanced functionality, significantly boosting Professor Kofidis' brand identity and online presence. Till today, we continue our ongoing efforts to support Professor Theo Kofidis in various marketing aspects, which is a testament to the heart work we pour into our field.
